What can I tell you about myself? I am a person with a rather rare surname and nevertheless rather usual ambitions. The first question I was asked in the University is why I chose the future of a diplomat. The answer is quite simple: new impressions, new friends and of course childish dream to be famous and rule the world. Besides, I was born in a small town hidden within boundless scope of nothern forests. Growing in quite an ordinary family I did not have much facilities for traveling despite my romantic character and a great will to get knowledge. Studying in the International Relations Department of Saint-Petersburg State University I can make my dreams come true. I have finished the Foreign Languge School of my native town where I learnt two languages, English and German. Engish that I have been learning for nine years has always been a sphere of my interests in contrast to my second language. I recognize that my knowledge in German lives very much to be desired but I have never pretended on the rank of a specialist in German philology. This language seems to me rough and boring so were the lessons. The feeling that we were on a class of politic propaganda in an SS division never left me. Even the teacher wearing strict suits bore a strong resemblance of a fascist officer. I am also fond of politics, philosophy and geography. But the thing I really adore is history. This hobby helped me in entering the University a lot. It seems to me that the things I wrote above could make you think I am a usual boring pupil whose only interest is studying. I'm afraid it doesn't correspond to the facts: studying takes a lesser part in my life than for example communicating with my friends or practically any other thing. In fact sometimes I can very talkative but last summer something made me much more taciturn, reflection became usual for me. It's a question I haven't answered yet. Moreover, my hobby is music. About three years ago I started playing the drums but through some time I gave up. Now I'm in the centre of russian alternative culture and maybe I will make a band one more time. I can tell a lot more things about my past but future is much more interesting for me now. I believe, a piece of this future will be described in this place some day, who knows?
